Funding

Team members assume many of the costs related to training, equipment, maintenance and up-keep for themselves and their dogs. We rely on the generosity of individuals and companies for our funding, along with support from Government of Alberta departments such as Alberta Gaming and Alberta Culture and Community Services.

An annual fund-raiser is held in the spring. “SARDAA Burger Night” raises funds to provide a general operating budget and to maintain our equipment and supplies.

SARDAA is a registered Charitable Organization under Revenue Canada regulations and as such is able to issue tax deductible receipts for donations received.
